Ryan White’s “Come See Me in the Good Light” won top honors at the 19th annual Cinema Eye Honors in New York on Thursday. The documentary, which profiles poets Andrea Gibson and Megan Falley facing Gibson’s cancer journey, won prizes for outstanding nonfiction feature, original music score and Unforgettables honors for Gibson and Falley.
“The Perfect Neighbor” won outstanding director for Geeta Gandbhir and outstanding editing for Viridiana Lieberman, while “Seeds” also took two honors, for debut feature and cinematography for Brittany Shyne.
“The Alabama Solution” and “Apocalypse in the Tropics” tied for outstanding production.
