Two new releases led the China box office over the weekend of Oct. 31–Nov. 2, according to Artisan Gateway.
Maoyan Movie’s “Her Turn” topped the chart with RMB35.5 million ($5 million) in its opening two-day frame. Directed by Cheng Yanan, the thriller stars Li Gengxi, Deng Jiajia, Liu Yitie, Huang Xiaoming and Yue Jiayi. The story follows a partially paralysed woman who returns to her family’s remote mansion, uncovering long-buried secrets and a revenge plot years in the making.
