Celine-backed Veronic brings her ‘Voices’ to Vegas

Where can you see Madonna, Lady Gaga, Adele, Tina Turner and Britney Spears perform together?

Well, probably nowhere, at least not anytime soon. But celebrity impersonator Véronic DiCaire can sing and dance like all of them.

She brings her Véronic Voices show to Las Vegas this summer, performing June 20 to Aug. 31 at the Jubilee! Theater in Bally’s. Her repertoire includes at least 50 voices, not including her own. And she must be pretty good, because Celine Dion, who is one of the 50, is backing the show.

Véronic got her start in musicals in her native Canada, performing lead roles in Grease and Chicago. Her self-titled, French-language debut album was released in 2002. In 2008, she got a big assist from Dion, who invited Véronic to open for her Taking Chances tour, and in 2012, she became a judge on the French X Factor.

“The timing is great for this new kind of tribute and the team that Rene (Angelil, Dion’s husband) and Celine have put together is world class,” says Véronic in a media release. “I couldn’t ask for a better opportunity. Las Vegas is the perfect playground for what I do and I can’t wait to start!”

Véronic will make her U.S. debut on Katie Couric’s daytime talk show on April 25.

Tickets range from $60 to $120.
