CBS has ordered the pilot “Regency,” from “The Big Bang Theory” and “Young Sheldon” alum Tara Hernandez, to be put into consideration for the 2026-2027 TV season. The multi-camera sitcom, from Warner Bros. TV, is a period piece described as a “historical spin” on the typical family comedy.
Here’s the full logline: “A historical spin on the classic multi-cam family sitcom, centered around the upper-middle class Tillbrooks as they navigate life, love, and scandal in 19th Century England.”
