CAA has signed Oscar winner Adam McKay and his Hyperobject Industries for representation in numerous areas.
The veteran comedy director and, more recently, prestige-bait writer and producer is behind “Vice,” “The Big Short” and “Don’t Look Up.” McKay will continue to be represented by attorney Matt Johnson at JSSK.
Exactly a decade ago, “The Big Short” introduced a new dimension to McKay – the director of beloved, bro-ish classics like “Step Brothers,” “Anchorman” and “The Other Guys.” The script, an eye-level explanation of the 2008 housing market collapse, netted McKay an Academy Award and a BAFTA
