Box Office: ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ Stays No. 1 for Fourth Consecutive Friday; ‘Primate’ Swings to $4.5 Million Opening Day

“Avatar: Fire and Ash” continued its reign of box office dominance, landing at the top of the domestic charts for a fourth Friday in a row.

The third “Avatar” installment, which recently crossed $1 billion at the worldwide box office, took home $5 million domestically on Friday. The sci-fi epic is expected to pull in another $20 million by Sunday.
