JD Pardo is the latest addition to the MGM+ prequel series “Bosch: Start of Watch,” Variety has learned.
Pardo joins previously announced series leads Cameron Monaghan, Omari Hardwick, and Ariana Guerra. The show will follow a young Harry Bosch, played by Monaghan, in his rookie days in the LAPD.
“Bosch: Start of Watch” will take place in 1991 Los Angeles. The official logline states, “The series will explore a city on the edge, teeming with racial tension, gang violence, and a fractured LAPD.
