Honors were largely spread evenly at the 2005 BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday night in London.
Among the winners, Marisa Abela landed the leading actress award for “Industry” while Jessica Gunning completed a full-set for her breakout turn in “Baby Reindeer,” adding a best supporting actress BAFTA to a haul that already includes an Emmy and a Golden Globe.
Elsewhere, the BBC drama “Mr Loverman” won two performance awards, leading actor for Lenny James and supporting actor for Ariyon Bakare. There was also much love in the room for ITV’s “Mr. Bates vs The Post Office,” which won for limited series and was mentioned throughout the ceremony.
