Texas’ relocation tab jumps to $61M this year, with Active Network’s $8.6M lure

The Texas Enterprise Fund has spent at least $61.1 million this year to lure companies and jobs to the state, with the most recent allocation of $8.6 million going to bring Active Network LLC to Dallas. The incentive money promised so far will bring 5,222 jobs and $394.4 million in capital investment by companies headed to Texas from out of state, according to figures from Gov. Rick Perry’s office.
