SF Fed president: Bond-buying program should end

San Francisco Fed President John C. Williams on Wednesday reiterated his support for ending a critical bond-buying program. In a May speech in Portland, Williams said the Fed could curtail the program as early as this summer. The bond-buying program was initiated last year to stimulate the economy. It buys $85 billion in bonds monthly.
