Royal Caribbean reports more bookings, income in Q2

Royal Caribbean reported “successful” second quarter earnings Thursday, with a net income of $137.67 million, or $0.62 a share on revenue of $1.98 billion. The Miami-based cruise line’s (NYSE: RCL) net income increased 456 percent from $24.74 million, or $0.11 earnings a share in the same quarter last year.
