Huge Dell assets on the market to pave way for EMC buyout, reports say

A number of high-powered buyout firms are competing to buy Dell Inc. assets worth up to $10 billion, reports Reuters. The sell-off is being considered to reduce the amount of debt that Round Rock-based Dell will have to take on its books if its proposed merger with EMC Corp. (NYSE: EMC) is completed.
