Musk’s other company, Tesla, relies on China as a market, as a manufacturing center, and as a source of raw materials, leading to concerns that he may be pressured to reduce or remove content critical of Beijing. In October, he was criticized for inserting himself into China’s dispute over the future of Taiwan.
