What does fun mean to you? Maybe it’s going to a restaurant with friends. Catching the game on the weekend. Enjoying the sunshine at the beach. Whatever it is that you’re looking for, Washington’s got it for you. In fact — Washington ranks 7th in a study conducted by WalletHub examining the most fun states in the country.

Researchers compared all 50 states against two key categories: entertainment & recreation, and nightlife. From there, those two categories were further examined using 26 other metrics, 18 of which scores points for “entertainment
