The Buffalo Bills are rolling early against the Detroit Lions in Thursday Night FootballI, the first game at Highmark Stadium.
But now there is concern over the status of wide receiver D.J. Moore, who appeared to suffer a shoulder injury on a play in the end zone near the end of the first half.
Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen rolled to his right, looking for a receiver in the end zone. Allen made a throw late in the play, which Moore went to the turf to try and grab. The pass fell incomplete, and the wide receiver remained down on the turf at Highmark Stadium, grabbing his shoulder.
Moore was able to walk off the field on his own power.
You can see the play in question here:
Moore caught five passes for 100 yards and a touchdown in Buffalo’s Week 1 win over the Houston Texans. He had yet to catch a pass on Thursday night prior to this injury.
This is a developing story which will be updated.
