RENTON, Wash. — King County Executive Girmay Zahilay announced Monday that the county will open a new Disaster Recovery Center to help those affected by historic flooding in December 2025 apply for newly approved FEMA assistance.
In a press release, Zahilay said the assistance will help residents affected by the flooding and allow public entities to repair damaged infrastructure.
