Investigators say the victim was shot multiple times after a confrontation at an apartment.
PUYALLUP, Wash. — A Pierce County man has been charged with second-degree murder after authorities said a 37-year-old man was shot and killed at a Puyallup townhome in what deputies initially described as an isolated incident.
Pierce County deputies responded around 4:19 a.m. Sunday, April 12, to a reported shooting in the 12200 block of Canyon Road East after a neighbor called 911 saying they heard yelling and loud banging next door.
When deputies arrived, they found Tyriek Patterson with gunshot wounds. He died while being taken to a hospital.
