China Box Office: ‘It’s OK’ Claims Top Spot on Slow Weekend

The local drama “It’s OK” ascended to the number one position at the China box office during the April 10–12 weekend, earning RMB31.0 million ($4.6 million) in its second full weekend, according to data from Artisan Gateway.

Produced by China Film and directed by Yang Lina, the film has now reached a cumulative total of $18.7 million. The story follows Xu Ke, a young woman whose life is upended by her mother’s sudden arrival as she faces a medical emergency, forcing the pair to confront long-standing family tensions.
