“Star Wars” voice star Ashely Eckstein and her husband, former MLB player David Eckstein, are set to release complementary books in September.
Ashley, best known for voicing the role of AhsokaTano throughout the “StarWars” franchise, has written “Lucky 22,” a rom-com novel inspired by the couple’s love story. Ashley retells their early years through the characters Ella Rose Holt and Christian Lucas in her debut romance novel, written with New York Times bestselling author Samantha Chase.
