A rapidly developing winter weather event has prompted urgent warnings across northern Minnesota, where dangerous snow squalls are creating near-zero visibility and hazardous travel conditions. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Duluth issued a Snow Squall Warning early Wednesday morning, affecting Cass, Itasca, Koochiching, and northwestern St. Louis counties.
