3 men charged in Tacoma home invasion where cash and a safe were taken

Prosecutors say two residents were confronted at gunpoint and about $1,500 and a small safe were taken.

TACOMA, Wash — Pierce County prosecutors say three men have been charged in connection with a Feb. 27 armed home invasion in Tacoma in which two residents were confronted at gunpoint and about $1,500 in cash and a small safe were taken.

According to court documents, Jesus Jose Zubia Jr., David Leroy Willis and Lester Robert Hansen are all charged in the case.

Zubia and Hansen each face charges of first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and unlawful imprisonment. Willis is charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary.
