Caught-on-video mail thieves repeatedly targeted a Marysville neighborhood, using suspected stolen master keys to systematically empty banks of mailboxes.
MARYSVILLE, Wash. — Brazen mail thieves have been caught on video repeatedly targeting mailboxes in a Marysville neighborhood, and residents say they’ve been hit at least five times since the start of the year.
“Honestly, I’ve lost track,” said neighbor Daniel Peterson. “It kind of an epidemic here.”
Neighbors have gone so far as to post a sign at the mailboxes warning that mail is being stolen on a regular basis.
