SEATTLE — A King County Superior Court judge denied all post-trial motions, including the request for a new trial, filed by the City of Seattle in the case of the fatal shooting of a teenager during the 2020 Capitol Hill Organized Protest.
The city plans to appeal the decision, according to the Seattle Attorney’s Office.
In January, a King County jury found the city wasn’t quick enough in its emergency response when Antonio Mays Jr., 16, was shot.
