Police report the assault occurred following a brief verbal altercation that escalated. The suspects fled before officers arrived.
SEATTLE — A 39-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach early Saturday morning, according to Seattle police.
Officers responded around 12:40 a.m. near the 4400 block of 35th Avenue SW in West Seattle to reports of a stabbing.
When they arrived, they found the victim “laying in a pool of blood.” Police said he was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
