Duvall park reopens after flooding causes erosion along Snoqualmie River shoreline

The city removed barriers at McCormick Park, but installed temporary fencing near the damaged river banks.

DUVALL, Wash. — McCormick Park has reopened following a temporary closure due to shoreline erosion caused by recent flooding along the Snoqualmie River. 

A stretch of the waterfront remains blocked off by temporary fencing where unstable ground still poses a risk to visitors.

Last weekend’s flooding caused issues throughout the city, including water over a key stretch of Northeast 124th Street that left drivers facing detours and delays.
