SEATTLE — The City of Seattle agreed to pay $750,000 to settle a discrimination lawsuit filed by a well-known police detective.
Detective Denise “Cookie” Bouldin’s original claim against the city sought $10 million. In the settlement, Bouldin agreed to dismiss the complain with prejudice, meaning the case is permanently closed.
