The City of Algona put a four-day suspension in effect to talk with the fiber internet provider and give residents a chance to ask questions.
ALGONA, Wash. — Residents in one South King County city are raising concerns about ongoing construction tied to fiber internet installation.
The City of Algona signed a contract with Ezee Fiber about a year ago, and construction began in recent months. The fiber-optic internet provider operates in multiple cities across Western Washington and has an office in Kent.
Algona’s mayor suspended construction Friday, March 20, following a gas line rupture Thursday, March 19.
