SHORELINE, Wash. — Every year, animal shelters and rescues experience “kitten season,” between March and late fall months.
While it may sound “cute,” it’s actually a very serious occurrence with a major impact on animal care resources, according to Seattle Area Feline Rescue (SAFe) in Shoreline.
The rescue’s outreach coordinator, Lindsey Neblina, stopped by the KING 5 studios to talk about this year’s “Kitten Shower,” which will support neonatal feline care and pregnant cats as well.
