SEATTLE — The fuselage of a refurbished Boeing 747 now hangs between two apartment buildings in Seattle’s Denny Triangle.
The 250-foot-long, 65-foot-tall airplane was hung about 14 feet above the central galleria at 1200 Stewart Street.
It took 39 semi-trucks to bring the pieces of the fuselage of the former United Airlines jet up to Seattle from the aircraft boneyard in Victorville, California.
Once complete, it will be an office work space for anyone who lives inside the buildings.
