Mitchell Gaff, a diagnosed sexual sadist, is now charged in two cold case murders of Everett women. Detectives are investigating whether additional victims exist.
EVERETT, Wash. — Mitchell Gaff, already in the Snohomish County Jail charged with a 1984 cold case murder, has now been accused of killing a second Everett woman four years earlier. Detectives say there could be more victims out there.
Gaff was charged in 2024 with the murder of Judy Weaver. Prosecutors say he broke into her Everett apartment, tied her up, raped and strangled her, then set her apartment on fire to conceal the crime.
