WASHINGTON — One the United States’ top counterterrorism officials has resigned, citing the Trump administration’s handling of the Iran war and alleged pressure from Israel.
Joe Kent, the director of the National Counterterrorism Center announced his resignation Tuesday morning on social media, saying Iran “posed no imminent threat” to the U.S. before the war.
