A significant lake-effect snow event continues to impact parts of upstate New York, with the National Weather Service issuing warnings across seven counties as hazardous winter conditions intensify through Tuesday evening and into Wednesday morning.
Heavy snowfall, strong winds, and rapidly changing visibility are expected to disrupt travel and daily activities across multiple regions, particularly in areas east of Lake Ontario.

The National Weather Service offices in Buffalo and Binghamton have confirmed that Jefferson, Lewis, Northern Cayuga, Oswego, Oneida, Madison, and Onondaga counties remain under lake effect snow warnings.
