ISSAQUAH, Wash. — Eastbound state Route 18 closed just before the Tiger Mountain Summit on Monday due to a slide, officials said.
The highway is closed to eastbound traffic at the Issaquah/Hobart Road, according to Trooper Rick Johnson.
A photo posted by Johnson shows a section of the hill had given way, taking trees and debris with it.
There is no estimate for when the roadway will be cleared.
Drivers should consider alternate routes and expect delays.
The closure comes less than a week after SR 18 was closed for hours at the summit due to snow and ice on the roadway.
