Actress Wendi McClendon-Covey is being characteristically blunt about why she did not take part in Sunday’s “Bridesmaids” reunion on the live Academy Awards telecast.
“I had a neck lift last week because I’m tired of looking like a melting candle. So I had to skip the Academy Awards. No drama. Everything is fine,” the actress and comedian posted Sunday night on Instagram. She said she spoke out in response to queries flowing in to her direct messages.
