A collision near SeaTac on I-5 led to a 72-year-old woman’s death and closed southbound lanes for hours. The cause is under investigation, say authorities.
SEATTLE — A deadly collision shut down southbound lanes of Interstate 5 for multiple hours early Sunday morning near SeaTac.
According to the Washington State Patrol, a vehicle traveling in lane two struck another vehicle in lane one before leaving the scene. The second vehicle became disabled and ended up perpendicular to the roadway. Moments later, a third vehicle collided with the disabled vehicle.
