Lakewood parents face murder charges after 7-week-old dies, court records say

Court records say a 7-week-old had brain and eye bleeding, rib injuries and died days after a March 4 911 call.

LAKEWOOD, Wash. — A 7-week-old Lakewood boy died days after a March 4 emergency call, and both of his parents are now charged with second-degree murder, according to court records and the Lakewood Police Department.

Newly filed Pierce County court documents identify the parents as Mark Anthony Labaco Clamor, 21, and Alyssa Jade Vanderbeck, 19.

Prosecutors charged Clamor with two counts of second-degree murder.

Vanderbeck charged with one count of second-degree murder.

Court records confirm both were charged Thursday.
