‘Marshals’ Renewed for Season 2 at CBS After ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff Premieres With 20.6 Million Viewers

Marshals,” the new CBS drama set inside Taylor Sheridan‘s “Yellowstone” universe, has been given a quick Season 2 renewal — just 12 days after premiere. The Eye gave “Marshals” the pickup after the show premiered on March 1 to boffo numbers.

According to CBS, the show’s March 1 premiere posted 20.6 million multiplatform viewers (including CBS and Paramount+) within seven days. Per Nielsen Panel + Big Data and live+7 ratings, CBS noted that made it the most-watched broadcast original series premiere without an NFL lead-in since 2017 (CBS’ “Young Sheldon”).
