Starbucks to close these 5 store locations in Seattle

The company said employees at the affected stores were given 30-day notices of the closure.

SEATTLE — Starbucks is set to close five additional stores in Seattle, the company confirmed. Four of those locations had previously unionized.

This comes after a number of closures in 2025, including the Starbucks Reserve Roastery on Capitol Hill and in the company headquarters in September 2025.

Starbucks said the locations were selected based on financial performance and customer experience, and did not have to do with represented status.
