SEATTLE — The USS Nimitz has left Naval Base Kitsap in Bremerton for the final time, marking the end of its long history in the Pacific Northwest. The departure on March 7 is part of a planned relocation of the aircraft carrier’s homeport to Naval Station Norfolk.
