SEATTLE — Thousands of people gathered Sunday at Cal Anderson Park for a large Women’s March and rally marking International Women’s Day.

The demonstration is being coordinated by the Defund Musk Women’s Group — also known as the Seattle Handmaids — alongside the Washington State Handmaid Coalition and several partner groups, including West Seattle Indivisible, Evergreen Resistance, Southend Indivisible, Freedom Road Socialist Organization, and Socialist Alternative Workers.
