SEATTLE — The Seattle City Council’s Select Committee on Federal Administration and Policy Changes is considering a sweeping set of measures aimed at limiting the city’s cooperation with federal immigration enforcement.

The committee began discussing a resolution that would restrict what personal data city departments and contractors can share with federal agencies, even those not directly tied to immigration enforcement.
