Man accused of killing Bothell woman released from jail

SHELTON, Wash. — A man accused of killing a 27-year-old woman in Mason County has been released from jail after a judge reduced his bail, a decision that has left the victim’s family stunned and concerned.

Prosecutors in January charged 45-year-old Sean Harris, of Bremerton, with first-degree murder in the death of Mallory Barbour. Harris, who was Barbour’s former roommate, has pleaded not guilty.

Barbour’s mother, Denise Barbour, said she was shocked to learn that Harris had been released.
