Court documents say an Everett man admitted posting threats on X before being warned by agents.
EVERETT, Wash. — An Everett man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges he threatened to kill the president in a series of social media posts, according to court documents.
Phillip Richard Wharton, 20, is charged with two counts of threatening a federal official in the Western District of Washington.
The indictment was filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Seattle.
