Wenatchee teen run over after riding on hood of car and falling off

The teen was reported run over in a grocery store parking lot and the driver left the area.

WENATCHEE, Wash. — According to the Wenatchee Police Department, a 16-year-old boy was hospitalized after being run over in a parking lot Monday evening, and another 16-year-old has been arrested.

Police said the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot of WinCo at 1340 North Wenatchee Avenue.

Officers were told a 16-year-old boy had been run over and that the driver left the scene. 

The victim was found and taken to the hospital for treatment.
