A cougar has made itself at home in Bellingham’s Geneva neighborhood for three months, worrying parents who say the state isn’t doing enough to protect their kids.

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Parents in Bellingham’s Geneva neighborhood say a cougar has been prowling their community for three months, killing deer in front yards and venturing into children’s play areas. They fear the state isn’t doing enough to keep their children safe.
