Broadway will dim its lights early on Sunday due to the impending blizzard that’s expected to take aim at New York City.
After initially planning to remain open, most Broadway shows — including new productions like “Chess” and “Ragtime” revivals and “Every Brilliant Thing” with Daniel Radcliffe, as well as mainstays like “Wicked,” “The Lion King” and “Aladdin” — have canceled Sunday evening performances. This afternoon’s matinees — with curtain times of 3 p.m. or earlier — will proceed as scheduled.
