Man shot, killed in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood; suspect arrested

Seattle police are responding to the area of East Pine Street and Belmont Avenue on Friday night after a shooting.

SEATTLE — A man has died after a shooting in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood on Friday night, according to the Seattle Police Department (SPD). 

Detective Brian Pritchard said two men got into a fight around 10:20 p.m. near East Pine Street and Belmont Avenue. One man was armed with a gun and the other had a box cutter, he said.
