RENTON, Wash. — One person was killed and several families were displaced after a fire broke out at a Renton condominium building Monday.
Calls to 911 began around 10:30 a.m. reporting a fire at a unit in the 1500 block of Union Avenue Northeast. One unit was fully involved, and three others were affected.
The person who died was described by fire officials as a “young adult.”
Firefighters said the victim was one of the people who called 911.
