Washington State Patrol is investigating a deadly collision involving three cars near Gold Bar and Index.
GOLD BAR, Wash. — A deadly crash has closed Highway 2 near Gold Bar and Index on Thursday night, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).
Trooper Kelsey Harding said the collision involves three cars and is blocking all lanes near milepost 31 on Fir Road. WSP said two people were killed in the collision.
Drivers are being detoured at the east end of the closure at Index Galena Road. On the west end, the detour begins at Reiter Road.
