SEATTLE — Students young and old traded hallways for the crowded streets of downtown Seattle on Wednesday, as families packed the Seahawks’ Super Bowl victory parade in what many called a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
“I always wanted to do this kind of thing before,” said Arrow Brown of Mill Creek, weaving through the sea of blue and green alongside his parents. “There’s, like, over a million people here.”
With schools open across the region, some parents openly acknowledged pulling their children out of class for the celebration.
